Map of Known Ancient Structures in the Copan Alluvial Pocket

This map is a preliminary version of one of PAPAC's major goals: re-mapping the entire Copan valley using GIS technology for purposes of longterm conservation and protection of cultural patrimony. In the future we plan to update this page continuously with cartographer Marc Wolf's ongoing field work.

The map will soon incorporate much more information (such as modern features, more place markers, contours) so please check back.
